The Carolina wrens on our porch hatched and fledged, looking for a brief time like tiny grumpy things.
This one thought he could get in through a window, and tried valiantly but fruitlessly for 10 minutes.
The trees above our back deck around the time of the Pollen b o m b. That’s our name for the week in Spring where everything under the sun suddenly becomes covered in a layer of yellow-green.
The pillowcase dresses become everyday, along with very bright shoes. 😉
New plants on my windowsill. Our “forest” has entirely leafed now. We won’t see the house down the hill from us from this window now until very late fall.
