Blogging from my phone again–a little inept at this (there’s something real). ;). We visited my parents for the Independence Day holiday. Unfortunately the prevailing drought conditions caused a nearly statewide ban on fireworks, so our 4th ended very quietly and very early. But we still had a good time.
We packed a lot into our 4th. We went to Mass in the morning to close out the Fortnight for Freedom. Then we headed to the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis for some fun for all before heading back to my old hometown’s 4th of July parade. This year the parade route was altered because of construction but that was good because so many more people–us included–garnered a front row seat. This also meant that between our kids and their cousin, we gathered more candy than they did at Halloween. So without further ado, here’s some pretty, happy, funny, and real from our day:
(in backward order–told you I was inept! đŸ˜‰ )
Nice job posting from your phone! Thanks for joining!
Looks like you all enjoyed your 4th of July holiday! (:
