It’s important for moms to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So on Thursday of each week, we do exactly that.
1) I’m still working on Princess’ Christmas stocking! The new design is wonderful. This might actually be finished by Christmas.
2) We took time out over the weekend to have a long family walk in the park. Also wonderful.
3) For once, I am on-time with my eldest niece’s birthday. She will have her presents wrapped and ready on her big day. I’m sure she’ll think it’s wonderful, if she’s ever noticed before that her aunt has been late. 😉

Are you using a pattern for her stocking, or did you make it up yourself?
Oh a pattern, absolutely! I have this book and it has a lovely sampler-style stocking in it. I will have to figure out how to reverse the bottom of the stocking so the toe points left instead of right, but that’s easier than making up my own design. I could not presume to do that at my stage in stitchery. 🙂
Great on getting the gift out on time. That can be such a challenge. I am preparing to send a Veterans Day card to my brother who is deployed overseas right now and praying he gets it on or before on time!
Great list! Yay for getting birthday presents wrapped and ready in time. Why is that sooo hard?!?! I think my family/friends would be shocked if I managed to have things ready ON someone’s birthday!
