It’s important for moms to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So on Thursday of each week, we do exactly that.
1) Haus Meister came home for lunch the other day and said an opportunity had come up to enable the whole family to accompany him to Colorado when he goes to attend a conference. I have our hotel rooms booked, our itinerary set (including a plan B), and am starting on the packing list. Stay tuned for more of this wild adventure.
2) I cleared off the folding table in the laundry room. The white surface of the tabletop gleamed at me in a vastness of uncluttered glory. And then the dryer beeped.
3) I made a quick (read–six item) grocery run with all five kids and no other helper. This was a huge success for all involved.
Bonus Success = belongs to Sunshine. She now fully rolls over, and does it every chance she gets.
Awww, babies grow up way to fast! Good luck with the trip! And #3 is totally a success, I count it a success when I manage it with my 3. 🙂
Laundry successes are so brief, aren’t they? 🙂
