It’s important for moms to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So on Thursday of each week, we do exactly that.
1) Trooper and Rascal’s summer reading program at the library ended last Saturday so Rascal and I went to the library and turned in the forms (on time!). Trooper listened to 30 books and Rascal listened to 48 over the course of the program.
2) Zucchini muffins. I had forgotten how good homemade zucchini muffins taste. I am kicking myself that I didn’t plant zucchini in my garden this year (next year for sure!).
3) I found these boxes at Target in the $2.50 bin and eagerly began to set up our modified workbox system. 🙂 We are very excited about this new way of organizing the schoolwork for the upcoming academic year. The top row is Trooper’s and the bottom is Rascal’s. If you would like to see a good synopsis of the workbox system, this site has it. Now our little system isn’t 100% ready yet–I don’t have the numbers velcroed to the front and the schedule books aren’t done, but the boxes are in!

Most of the "assignments" are just in there for an example.
LOVE this list, and those dollar bins!!! You rock!!! I’m really proud of you, and always get inspired by your blog!!!
Much love!
