I hear this a lot. It translates to: “I asked to play with it,” “it” usually being whatever Rascal 1) has, 2) has just taken from Dinosaur or 3) is about to take from the Dinosaur. The funny thing is, Dinosaur hasn’t asked, nor is he about to. Admittedly, I usually hear this regarding numbers 2 and 3. Rascal is learning very fast that little brothers catch on to trickery, and Rascal can’t operate by his old tactic of offering brother another toy so he can play with the coveted one. The brother is growing fast, and becoming wise in his little way. 😉
